2015 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition
The Case Concerning the Secession and Annexation of East Agnostica
The Federal Reublic of Agnostica (Applicant) and the State of Reverentia (Respondent) appeared before the International Court of Justice to address their differences in the Case Concerning the Secession and Annexation of East Agnostica.
The case addressed treaty interpretation and applicability in the face of changed circumstances, the propriety of counter-measures, and the procedural and substantive issues raised by the secession of a province from one country and its annexation by another.
